The Haskins House of Music is a large violin and piano studio based in Reno, NV. Currently with 25 students, Mr. Haskins officially established his studio officially in 2022 with the goal of providing a fun and professional music education experience for all ability levels. The studio ranges from ages 5-65 and beginner to professional, and we hold Fall and Spring recitals each year, typically at Reno First United Methodist Church downtown.

Rates and Payment Details:

Rates: $45 for 30 minutes, $65 for 45 minutes, $80 for 60 minutes (best deal!). Rates are subject to change and are carefully planned to stay competitive with other local music teachers. Discounts may be available for siblings or referrals.

Payments: Monthly payment is preferred for budget and planning purposes, but payment can also be made weekly. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check, Venmo (david-haskins-12), or Zelle.

Refunds: Lessons are only refundable if notice of cancellation is given to Mr. Haskins more than 24 hours in advance of the lesson.

Credits: If Mr. Haskins must cancel a lesson within 24 hours he will credit your payment towards the next lesson. If a lesson is prepaid but cancellation notice is given early enough, the canceled lesson will be credited towards the next session.

Dogs: I have two medium-sized (and friendly) dogs at home. Please let me know if this is a concern for your student so I can put them outside prior to your lesson time.

Availability: The studio is currently full, but things tend to change each semester. Zoom lessons are available for any remote students during the day, contact me to find out more!
